Scrolling through my Instagram timeline I spotted a sponsored post, "Earn gift vouchers from an app on your phone!" - usually i would ignore this kind of post, expecting it to be a scam but with numerous comments below saying "This actually works!" and 5* reviews on the app store, i thought i'd give it a go.


The app is a market research app called People.IO and is available to download to your Apple or Android device. It is simple to use, you earn credits which can then be exchanged for gift vouchers.

* Answer easy yes/no market research questions: 1 point per question

* View advertisements: 5 points

These tasks can be completed in minutes and allow you to build up points to be redeemed for gift vouchers from Starbucks, Amazon, Argos, Currys PC World, Debenhams, House Of Fraser, Itunes, John Lewis, Marks And Spencer, New Look, Pizza Express, TK Maxx and Ticket Master. They start at 750 points for a £5 voucher but if you're patient you can save up your points for bigger rewards.
